How often do I use the Spring Set?
The BioTeich Spring Set contains products for correcting water values. To maintain optimal water values during the spring months, you should use the set monthly.
For a needs-based and sustainable correction of water values, we recommend testing the water values and only adjusting them with the corresponding BioTeich products if necessary.
Can I use this product simultaneously with others?
Yes, you can use all BioTeiGa products simultaneously without following a specific order.
We do not recommend using BioTeiGa products together with products from other manufacturers, as this may compromise their effectiveness.
Why does BioTeiGa recommend turning off the UVC lamp permanently?
A UVC lamp clarifies the water – that's true. But it doesn't distinguish between harmful and beneficial microorganisms. It kills everything: algae cells, but also the single-celled organisms that maintain the biological balance of your pond.
These very microorganisms are the foundation of a healthy pond. They break down pollutants, compete with algae for nutrients, and keep the ecological system stable. If you operate the UVC lamp continuously, you destroy this system – and have to rebuild it from scratch again and again.
The result: clear water to the eye, but a microbiologically weakened pond that remains permanently dependent on technical assistance.
What’s the alternative?
