A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers are entitled to a right of cancellation according to the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed professional activity:

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.

In the case of a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a specified period, the cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the first goods.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (BioTeiGa GmbH, Krawinkel 6, 06647 Bad Bibra, Germany, Tel.: +49 34465 6840100, E-Mail: shop@bioteiga.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the attached model cancellation form, but this is not mandatory.

You can also exercise your right of cancellation online on the website at the internet address https://bioteiga.de/. If you use this online function, you will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g., by e-mail) with information about the content of the cancellation declaration as well as the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that is not necessary for checking the nature, properties, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Cancellation

The right of cancellation expires prematurely for contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

The right of cancellation expires prematurely for contracts for the delivery of goods if these have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery due to their nature.

The right of cancellation does not apply to consumers who, at the time of the conclusion of the contract, are not a member of a Member State of the European Union and whose sole residence and delivery address at the time of the conclusion of the contract are outside the European Union.
