The food is better than any conventional type. The fish always gobble it up immediately. Before, I always had to scoop out half of it with a net, otherwise it would have sunk to the bottom of the pond.

Do you always ask yourself which food is best for your fish? The market offers a wide selection, but be careful:

Fish food consists of 80% fish meal. However, it depends on whether this consists of whole fish or just fish waste. The composition of most inexpensive or even expensive fish food consists of fish waste and low-quality fillers. As a result, they contain far more phosphorus and nitrogen compounds than is really necessary for a balanced diet for fish.

When fish excrete these ingredients, a mass of water-soluble phosphates and nitrates is formed very quickly! As we know, phosphates and nitrates are the main food of algae in the pond. 500 g of unnatural fish food can cause up to 25 kg of algae to form in the pond.

In addition, due to the poor utilization of this food, the fish often have digestive problems and a weakened immune system, which can also lead to sudden, unexplained death.

For the well-being of your fish, you should first provide them with an optimal habitat. This includes:

optimal water values in the pond water (step 2)
a pump-filter system that runs around the clock
the use of a filter material (step 3) in which active microorganisms settle and fish toxins cannot even develop (step 4)
